Workshop: PhD in Philosophy Options in North America
A PhD – or an MA – from a North American university will not only give you a solid advantage on the job market; it will also be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. And they pay you for it! But the programs are competitive. This short seminar is intended for anyone who has ever thought about, or considered thinking about, taking advantage of the opportunity. You will get information about how to go about applying, what you ought to do in advance, a timeline, where to find further information and what materials you need to apply. We will also give you some tips on how to put together your application materials, what application committees actually emphasize and how to thrive in an American graduate program. There will be plenty of time for questions and discussion.
Free of charge. Language will be English.
